House of Commons
BAME Internship
The House of Commons has partnered with the Windsor Fellowship to run their annual internship programme, offering eight opportunities to individuals from BAME (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) communities. These internships are aimed at individuals from communities that are currently underrepresented within the workforce at the House of Commons.
The House of Commons is committed to attracting talent from a wide range of backgrounds and recognises the value in reflecting the diversity of the UK population. This internship programme provides paid work experience, employability support and guidance to individuals from BAME communities that are currently underrepresented in the House of Commons’ workforce. The programme is designed to equip interns with the skills and knowledge necessary to apply for full-time positions in Parliament on completion of the programme.
